A helping Hand

Hope, Faith, Inspiration, Courage, Strength

You have to have HOPE to get though your difficult times in life.

FAITH To believe you will make it

You need INSPIRATION to find HOPE, FAITH, COURAGE and STRENGTH

You need COURAGE to deal with what life is throwing at you.

STRENGTH will get you through another day.

We all have these things in ourselves, we just need to find it. You are not alone and as long as you are here you will never be alone. There are people here who will pray for you, who will point you in the right direction and who will stand by your side helping you every step of the way.

There are wonderful people here

Elaine of TSA, Who ~ Knew, Ekikaseven, and Soulight

are the most helpful and wonderful people. Together we can help you find the assistance you need, pray you have the strength and courage to make it another day, and encourage you to take the steps to help yourself.

I can not help you financially, I can not do what these wonderful people do everyday. But I can help you learn to be more self sufficient, and I can help you find the HOPEFAITH, INSPIRATION, COURAGE, and STRENGTH that you will need to climb the mountain in front of you.

With Love in my heart,

Lady Christie

I'm going to lose my house to forclosing. I have been sent the papers and then was served with papers on a sheriff sale of my property. I don't know what to do. I am disabled, 44 yrs. old and there are six people living under my roof that depend on me. three in school. My daughter in law and my 2 yr. old Grandson. I just don't know what to do. If you know of anything or someone that helps with this kind of thing I would be forever greatful. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for listening, Kathy

You CAN get state housing assistance. Public housing is available for the disabled in MA.The program you are referring to is Section 8. For that program the subsidy is attached to you. However there are other programs where the subsidy is attached to the property.

Here is the link for eligibility guidelines

My christmas is not so well nor will my New year be. My Mom died of cancer Mar 07. I have MS and live on SSI. I can not get state housing assistance because I am under ages 55 and not homeless. I am on the 8-10 year waiting list. My landlord has asked me to move by 12/31/07. I am packing with no where to go yet. I am trying to find a new apartment in Northampton MA by the due date or next week. My landlord let me keep my rent money for a few months due to a leak in my apt but it was under the promise to move. I wish I could get some help with getting a new apartment in Northampton MA I am using the rent money I have now and some of my college funding which is putting me in future debt. The rents I am looking at are from $700-1200 I get $920 on ssi and have been paying 75% for rent for years now. My rents where I live now have been $600-900 when my Mom was alive she helped alot. Now I have no support. I am in college trying to change things that takes time and for me its until 2009. There must be something out there for people like me?

Lady Christie: I see such talent and potential among yourself, Who~knew, Soulight and Ekikaseven. Have you thought about collaborating on your own non profit organization to assist people? It is so nice to see just plain ole good folk doing the right thing and helping others. This is what moves me. Blessings, Elaine

I agree everyone needs to be extra careful not only in our everyday life but most importantly on the internet. People are out there to scam others, I would never intentionally point someone in the direction of a scam, and I would never try to mislead people. I know it is hard being poor I wish I had the money to help everyone, I also wish I knew where everyone could go to get help. I don't though, I can only tell people of my personal struggles and that there is hope you just have to be strong, and keep trying. I know life can throw some ugly punches and it only seems to get worse the further down you get, but sometimes you have to hit the floor before you can get back up again. I guess you can say sometimes we need to reboot our life. It is never an easy fight but it is a worthwhile fight. When you begin to start winning the fight and taking back your life it is the greatest feeling in the world. I want to help people feel that pride, it is the only way I can help others right now. If I only help one person it will be well worth my time. I hope you don't give up, where there is a will there is a way. I know it seems hopeless, but it's often when things seem hopeless that we find our own inner strength to not give up. Don't give up and God Bless, Lady Christie

Lady Christie, I need to claify to everyone, that your site is a great thing you've done and indeed a great source of information. I only want to make sure everyone is extra careful with what they actually pursue, especially when it comes to asking for money, because sad but true, devils, dress in angels disguise, so you have to be extra careful with everything & everyone.

DeadInside I have not found any information proving any of the work at home sites is a scam. If I find proof that they are a scam they will be removed but before I listed them I did do a quick check (not thorough). It is your choice to join, it is your choice to even look at them. My website was not meant to be a source for work at home opportunities it was more for learning how to live with what money you have, work at home, paid surveys and webmasters was only added if people wanted the opportunities. Wow, deadinside, that makes me sick, too. You can't really trust anyone online even if they sound legitimate. I'm learning that the biggest scammers know how NOT to sound like a scammer. Be careful people! I am curious about your screenname (haven't visited your page yet). What does that mean, deadinside? ~ Lora

On your site "Poorly Living" "Work at Home" "SCAM" (You always know it's a scam anytime they ask for $$$, even if it's just $2.99. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr What bothers & hurts me the most is HOW can other people do such hurtful low things to others in need???? RE: Now all you need to do is pay your ONE-TIME membership fee. This is a lifetime membership which includes unlimited lifetime support and customer service. As soon as payment is received, you will automatically be re-directed to our exclusive members area to begin. You may pay this one time fee with your credit card, with your checking account or with a money order, MoneyGram, or Western Union through E-gold or AlertPay. Was $99, now only $49.95 (limited time offer) The regular price of $99 will be effective next month. A small price to pay for the amount of money you will make from this program. Follow the step by step instructions that I've laid out for, and you will realize you've made a wise investment!

I have anxiety, depression, social anxiety and have even tried to commit suicide, I know it is not always easy. I never tried to make it sound easy. I grew up poor was a victim of an abusive mother, and was molested by my stepdad I had my first child at fifteen and my third by eighteen. It is not an easy road. I have fought like hell to make it in the world, all I am trying to say is it is possible to make it. I had around $20,000 in debts I am now down to around $5,000 I have fought and ripped my hair out to make it and I am winning. I have had no financial help, we never qualified for assistance so we have done this by ourselves. I want everyone to understand that they can too. It is a hard road to go down but if you want it to happen bad enough it will you just have to keep at it.
